Student Coach

  • Engaged and instructed Florida State softball team in further development of their skills, fundamentals, mental aspects of the game, and charting evaluation
  • Analyzed pitching charts and video for game preparation and evaluation
  • Assisted Head Coach Lonni Alameda, Coach Angel Santiago and Coach Sara Pickering at practice, in games, traveling, and bull pen conditioning
  • Helped lead 2009 squad to 2nd place finish in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Championship Tournament
  • Team posted a 17-4 ACC record and a 43-17 NCAA Division I season record, in first season with new staff

Assistant Coach

  • Spent May-August 2009 coaching and living in Apeldoorn, Holland, and assisted the National Team in international competitions at the Canada Cup in Vancouver, B.C., World Cup of Softball IV in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and the European Championships in Valencia, Spain
  • Assisted National Team to their first European Championship in 18 years, while qualifying for the Softball World Championships in 2010, located Caracus, Venezuela
  • Extensive scouting and analyzing of pitching charts and video for game preparation and evaluation, with pitching coach Nancy Evans [currently Assistant Coach at Depaul University]
