SKILLS CHALLENGES

Our Skills Challenges are one-day events for baseball players 8-12 years old.

THE FORMAT:

INSTRUCTION:  During U.S. Baseball School Skills Challenges, your child will take part in an on-field workout where players will be instructed by the U.S. Baseball School Certified staff.  Our staff includes former college and professional players as well as professional scouts. 

COMPETITION: Each player will participate in fun individual challenges and team ("3man" 3 on 3) challenges to test their performance of different essential baseball skills. Challenges will include foot speed, arm strength, hitting, pitching, communication with teammates and more.  The top individual and "3man" performers at each event will win awards, prizes and also be highlighted on usbaseballschool.com.

EVALUATION:  Players will receive a written evaluation from U.S. Baseball School which will be stored on their profile on our site.  This scouting report will identify your child 's strengths and weaknesses, suggest areas for improvement and let you know where the player rates compared to other players his own age locally, regionally and nationwide.

COMPARE: This is your child's chance to see how he stacks up to other youth players locally, regionally and even nationwide.  If your child loves baseball and wants to continue playing at the next level, this workout will provide a great experience for shaping your child's baseball career.

ADVANCE: CHAMPIONS of each event will have the opportunity to advance to regional, state and national skills challenges when applicable.
